today's little update

it' cannot JUST be me,

it took forever this morning
for the blog to let me in to post.
i can't tell you how frustrating i find this.
Granted, i don't have a whole lot of Patience at home these days.
I work best in a quiet environment.
and lateley, my work enviroment Shakes, rumbles and Rattles.

there is a huge amount
of construction
going on directly behind our house.
This means lots of noise & very
frightening episodes
of our house shaking and rattling.
It's getting on my nerves.
That's the tidiest way to
sum it up.
Even the knitting companion

has taken a great dislike to being outside in the garden.

in the meantime, i shall
write about more peaceful things.

We're going
to have a houseguest this week. and i'm making

a list of pleasant places to go and things to do.
(maybe visit the Montreal Museum of fine arts)

Not only that - i have a big list of
Work: Things To Do
that has to be dealt with. Not news for anyone because
i realize everyone has a LIST of work to be done, but
my work list is starting to scare me.

so to lull me into a false sense of
calm, i share these photos with you.
Photos of HOW the garden looked before our
peace and quiet was over taken
with large Noisy, earth moving machines next door.

Say hello to the nice cow
outside of the Museum of fine arts,

on Sherbrooke, here in Montreal.

ARTmarks: Manitoba Bookmark Project

there's a poster you can download;
it shows a nice photograph of some of my work.
